Oh my goodness, Child Abuse in Micronesia!!!!

Street peddlers, child labors, negligence, starvations, mental anquishes, excessive physical beatings, ear-hair pullings, facial and head slappings, poverty and hard discipline measures were just few of the cases reported in the FSM Universal Periodic Reporting (UPR) on human rights and the Convention of the Rights of Children (CRC). NDOE added in low proficiency and academic performance levels of children at 5-18 yrs old and DHSA added malnutrition, Vitamin C/B deficiencies, impaired visions and a handful of other diseases. DRD added substandard subsistent living conditions amidst poorly constructed homes without water, utilities and etc.

The UPR report was only 10 or 20 pages, but full of HR violation of especially the children in the FSM. Only 10-15% of children enjoyed better living conditions.
